Let's be honest: this is a lightweight adhesive hook, designed for keys, a towel, a bag, a cap, or a child's coat. A rain-soaked adult winter coat will eventually peel off the adhesive. For those loads, choose a coat rack screwed into the wall.

Yes, polypropylene does not rust and is not afraid of steam or splashes. One precaution, however: place it on a clean, dry, and degreased surface, and avoid sticking it directly in the shower stream, as running water will eventually weaken any adhesive.

It needs smooth and non-porous surfaces: tiles, glass, melamine, lacquered doors, satin-finish painted walls. However, forget about roughcast, brick, raw wood, unvarnished wallpaper, and peeling paint: the grip will be poor from day one.
