Bamboo that won't buckle under winter coats

Nanzhu bamboo is not a soft wood: its tight fibers can handle the weight of a soaked parka without flexing. The spray-painted finish protects the bar from fingerprints and the ambient humidity of an entryway. Wall-mounted with the included hardware, the whole unit remains solid year after year, unlike an adhesive hook that gives way at the first heavy winter coat.

4, 6 or 8 hooks: you choose your entryway

A studio entryway doesn't have the same needs as a family hallway. Take 4 hooks for a small space, 6 for a couple, 8 when school bags and scarves pile up in November. The hooks are regularly spaced along the bar, enough so that one jacket doesn't rub against the next. Two colors, natural wood or brown, match a light wall as well as a warm interior.

Yes, and that's intentional. A rail holding several coats cannot be secured with adhesive: it would come off with the first wet jacket. Two to four holes are sufficient, the screws are provided, and the drilling template can be marked directly from the rail.

Allow for approximately 5 kg per hook on a solid wall with appropriate fixings: this is more than enough to hold a parka, a backpack, or several scarves. On a plasterboard partition wall, use suitable expansion anchors; otherwise, the limit will be the wall, not the bamboo.

The painted finish handles rain and splashes from an entryway without issue. However, it is not an outdoor material: avoid permanent exposure to steam or rain, which would eventually dull the bamboo.

The coat rack ships from our warehouse in China: allow 10 to 15 business days for delivery to your door, tracking included. This is not 48-hour delivery, and we prefer to tell you frankly rather than having you wait for an untenable promise.
